Itinerary (Day Wise)
Departure from Delhi by cab, an overnight journey from the northern plains to the Dhauldhar ranges in the Shivalik hills. You we will reach Barot Valley and visit the Shannon project that is India's first hydro project and stay there for a while. Then from Baragaon, that is a small sleepy village that is situated at the foot of mountains and covered by lush greenery all around, along with a valley that runs far into the horizon. You will feel welcoming and refreshing cold air as you step out of your vehicle and prepped to begin the trek to Rajgundha Valley. Trek is of nearly 5-6 km, here you'll follow the lush green trail along the mountains, and on the way, you will also find a wonderful bridge on the Uhl river that gives you the 360-degree view of the destination. You will begin to see snow-clad mountains along the Uhl river that's flowing in its full force. Overnight stay in Rajgundha.
This day starts with witnessing the scenic sunrise where you witness nature at its best and sun coming up from Dhauladhaar ranges and people starting their routine. We will proceed for early morning return trek to billing which is around 11 Kms and takes 3-4 hours. The natural beauty along the route makes sure that this effort is worth of. Stop at Chana Pass: Chana Pass is a spot that offers a breath-taking view of the valley that you just trekked a day before, here you can allow yourself to loosen up a bit, before setting on for Billing. As you approach Billing, you will witness the paragliders at nearly 2500 meters up in the sky, having time of their life, making adrenaline rushing twists and turns in the air as they twirl their chutes. In the evening check in at hotel and overnight stay in Bir. Billing is popular as the highest paragliding point in India, here you will have the option to conclude your trek most incredible manner by taking off from a glider and land at the landing site in Bir with our professional pilots of over 5000+ hours of experience, or take the cab to Bir if you want the ride back to be silent, calming your adrenaline rush down after two most adventurous and amazing days
On this day, after having breakfast with feeling the sun rising and warming up the environment, and absorbing all that energy we are ready for the short trek to Bangoru Waterfalls. Located at a distance of just 4.5 km from the Tibetan Colony, the Bangoru waterfall is usually devoid of the tourist crowd. Spend your afternoon there with serene nature and good vibes. Return back to Bir and visit the Chokling Monastery and Sherab Ling Monastery as you explore the beautiful town. Hangout in nearby cafes & restaurants and taste Tibetan and local cuisines and evening for leisure. Overnight stay in Bir.
This day have your breakfast and proceed towards Dharamshala. On the way visit The Palampur Tea Garden. Drive to McLeod Ganj. McLeod Ganj a famous Hill Station and home of Buddhist Guru Dalai Lama. And then proceed to cover Tsuglagkhang complex. It is the official residence of 14th Dalai Lama which also hosts Namgyal Gompa, Tibet Museum, library, cafe and a souvenir shop. Experience the serenity in the adopted home town of His Holiness, The Dalai Lama. Other interesting places to cover in Dharamshala will be Bhagsu Nag Temple & Waterfall, St. John Church, War Memorial, Cricket Stadium and local market. Overnight stay in Dharamshala. Palampur Tea Gardens: Tea gardens in Palampur cover a large area on the hillsides. Palampur was established by Dr. Jameson, who introduced tea plantation on the hill station. Amongst these gardens, a few are privately owned; some are called as "demonstration plots" that are managed by organizations such as the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research. Vast tea plantation estates can be seen on the road to Dharamshala that belongs to Palampur Co-operative Tea Factory. The abundance of tea plantation has made Palampur the Tea Capital of North India. The lush plantation with the backdrop of gorgeous Dhauladhar Mountain Range adds to the beauty of Palampur.
This day enjoy your breakfast in the serene environment of Dharamshala. After breakfast check out from the hotel and proceed towards Delhi by cab. Tour ends with beautiful memories and good vibes.
